Day 1-2
The first three nights of this trip we will spend in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. The estate is home to many wild animals such as giraffe, zebra, diversity of antelopes and many more. When night falls the occasional leopard or hyena patrol the area.
The following day, even before the sun is peeping over the horizon, we will be on the way to our first safari in Kruger.
We spend the day exploring in search for lions, elephants & co. You will get a first feeling how vast the park really is.
Day 3
The next day’s morning is for your leisure; enjoy a sleep-in, relax by the pool and simply observe the by-passing animals at your lodge.
It is said Africa’s sunsets are one of a kind. So you can’t miss out on that one! In the afternoon we will head out on a sunset safari in one of the Private Game Reserve bordering Kruger Park. From the top of the open safari jeep we scout once more for the king of Africa and will stop later for a sundowner in the middle of the African Bush watching the sun set and night unfold.
Day 4 & 5
We will say good bye to Hoedspruit the following morning and are en route deeper into Kruger National Park. We will explore the south of the park. The next two nights we will reside inside the park. Besides our daily safaris, you will also get the opportunity to be on foot in this unique wilderness and also head out on a night drive in search for the nocturnal creatures.
Day 6
We pack our bags and leave Kruger behind us but the next exciting highlights is already waiting for you… We will make our way to Elephant Whispers. Did you ever dream of getting close to an African Elephant? Then this is your day! We will visit the sanctuary of five rescued elephants. Experienced Elephant Handlers share their in-depth knowledge of fascinating elephant behavior and you learn how incredible those gentle giants really are. You will meet the elephants and get really, REALLY close to Africa’s biggest land mammal!
Afterwards we head into the Klein Drakensberge for the Panorama Route. After a delicious meal in Graskop, waterfalls, majestic views, unique rock formations and one of the greenest canyon in the world, Blyde River Canyon, awaits you.
We will be staying close to the canyon for the next two nights.
Day 7
On your last day we will leave the car behind and explore the magnificent canyon on foot. We hike deeper into the canyon and cool down in crystal clear pools of cold mountain waters.
We end this trip whilst enjoying the setting sun over the canyon and reliving the past seven days.
Day 8
The following morning we will transfer you to Hoedspruit airport for you to catch your flight back home.
